WILD is brought to you by Team DAMHSA, pronounced 'dow-sa', the Irish word for dance
Outdoor Series: WILD
April 2026 – September 2026 in outdoor locations throughout the Northwest
Indoor Series: DAMHSA Friday nights at the Oratory will return September 2026 – December 2026 in Ballisodare, Sligo
WILD is a Summer season of outdoor conscious dance events offered by team DAMHSA (meaning DANCE, pronounced 'dow-sa')
All DAMHSA offerings, at heart are an invitation to move freely. Conscious dance is about tuning into your body and the environment, allowing authentic movement to emerge. It's a powerful way to connect with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.
Guided, Not Choreographed: As experienced facilitators, we create a welcoming space. We guide the experience without teaching specific moves, encouraging personal exploration and connection through movement.
Sober & Inclusive: WILD & DAMHSA are sober dance events, fostering a clear-headed, embodied experience. We encourage communication through movement, which makes the events incredibly inclusive and open to everyone, regardless of background or prior dance experience.

Kate, Éadaoin, and Aisling are three passionate individuals, brought together by a shared love for dance, music, nature, heritage and community. They bring diverse experiences and a deep shared commitment to creating safe, joyful and creative spaces for movement.
In the summer of 2025, they first brought WILD to the dance community. WILD is a Summer season of outdoor conscious dance. Then they offered DAMHSA for dancers moving indoors through the rhythms of Autumn and Winter.
WILD 2026 opened in April with Wild 1 at a beautiful mountain and mill site, Wild 2 was in an ancient forest, WILD 3 was a morning dance by the sea.
Kate Brown: Sligo is Kate's home by the sea. She has a love for and has worked in the Arts for many years, including more recently as a conscious dance facilitator and Dance the Medicine DJ.
Éadaoin Nà Challaráin: A native of Connemara now living in Sligo. Formerly a doctor in family medicine and palliative care, she now works in embodied and relational approaches to wellbeing. She founded The Living Well: Tobar na Sláinte in 2024. Éadaoin is an Open Floor Mindful Movement teacher, Buteyko Breath coach, Family Constellation practitioner, and member of the global Dance the Medicine DJ and facilitator teaching team.
Aisling Dolan: Growing up in Boyle, Co. Roscommon, Aisling's connection to movement started early. Training to become a physiotherapist and Pilates teacher solidified this passion, revealing how movement heals both body and mind. As a dance facilitator and ecstatic dance DJ trained by Dance The Medicine, Aisling is living her dream by bringing mindful movement through conscious dance to others with DAMHSA.
